The only drinking water station I found is located by the toilets near the gate A20. There is no water station by A7.

I’m currently at FRA on a long layover and I’ve walked thru almost all of terminals A and B. There are plenty of fountains and a few bottle fillers in A, particularly near gate A7 and about once every few gates in the two really long corridors. I haven’t found any in B. I haven’t checked other terminals.

The fountain near A20 works. The number on the counter is over 433000 🙂

You can fill up your bottle going to the gate D27. On the right is open lounge area and on the left behind the column you will find it.

Drinking Fountains and Bottle Filling Stations
Free drinking water is available at a total of 30 drinking fountains in Terminals 1 and 2. In addition, conveniently located “bottle filling stations” are being installed where you can very easily fill empty bottles.
There are also free warm water dispensers in case you need warm water to make tea or prepare baby food.
