On a recent trip we found there are two drinking water fountains on the lower level (after security):
One is off the central café area, this is behind the Ritazza café down a short corridor leading to the toilets on the rear, right hand corner (when viewed with runway behind you).
The other is on the main concourse by the toilets between WHSmith shop and café Café & Tapas (approximately around gate 28/29)
Update for February 2023.
The only fountain I could find was at the toilets to the right of Upper Crust which is in the food outlet area with Burger King, Cafe Ritazza etc
There were none at WHSmith, gates 25/26 and gates 9/10.
#plasticfreeDirectly after security you go through the duty free area. Once you’re out of duty free, look left and you’l see vending machines near a Mango (clothes shop). There’s a waterfountain next to these vending machines. It’s fast flowing and has a spout high enough for a 2L bottle.
#plasticfree #BeatPlasticPollutionTenerife South has had alterations done to move everything onto one level. Through baggage security and the water fountain is next to Cafe ritazzo on the main walkway. The other by whsmith further up. Both easy to find.

There are two water fountains at tenerife south one in each level. I used the one on the ground floor just past the duty free shop before you get to the cafe on the right hand side.

We found a water fountain today (September2023). Turn left as you leave duty free, it’s outside the corridor to the loos.
#plasticfree #BeatPlasticPollutionAnother drinking water fountain is located on top level just after security check, turn left , the same direction as to Montana Roja VIP area, on the left hand you will see it on the wall.
It has been announced some time ago total 5 water fountains to be set up in TFS. I located 3.

After passing through the duty free section, turn left. There is a water fountain just outside the toilets opposite gates B23 and B24
There is another water fountain further along, outside the toilets at the food court.

#plasticfreeFountain at cafe ritazza is closed due to covid restrictions.
But the fountain at gate 9-10 is open.
