Not to provide plastic free water in the departure lounge  in 2019 is simply unacceptable.  Please install a water fountain or make other provision for plastic free water.

I filled my bottle with water from the bathroom. Not the smoothest experience, but it seems good to drink.

Hello – I have fresh news!

I transited through Marseille Provence airport on August 6th, specifically terminal 1 (intra Schengen). There were no water fountains that I could see, and I asked four members of staff to make sure. In parallel, I emailed the airport to ask about water fountains and they responded (I’m translating): water fountain installation is planned as part of the revamp of terminal 1, and water at the taps in the toilets is drinkable in the meantime. A further message from them added that the first water fountain had actually just been installed at Gate 16, but I have the feeling that this is the extra Schengen part of terminal 1, hence why I did not spot it.
