I found a nice water fountain, also with hot water, in the central shopping area. Near gates A.

Atatürk Airport used to be the intercontinental passenger and cargo hub and closed to commercial passenger flights on 6 April 2019. All flights were transferred to the new Istanbul Airport, located in the Arnavutköy district.
On April 17 2022, at the Istanbul (international) Airport we found a water fountain / water dispenser on the Departure Level, between the clothing shop LC Waikiki and escalators, in front of Yotel Air.
#plasticfreeWater available opposite to F1(A) in the international terminal. Both hot and cold water available.
#plasticfree @igairportIn the International Terminal, duty-free shopping area, there is a water fountain near D&R store, between “Rue” and “Döviz/Exchange” shops.
#plasticfreeJust filled up my water in the fountain there. It does exist
#plasticfreeOne fountain (cold and hot water) is close to YotelAir hotel. But the taste of water was unpleasunt.
#plasticfree @igairportThere is a water fountain near G Gates, walk downstairs when you pass security on domestic flights, towards “All Gates”, there is a Simit Sarayi and an escalator down. Turn right towards the G gates, and turn right around the statue of two children.
The wall says drinking fountain but it’s easily missed. There is also a cold and hot water fountain close to the food court , next to money exchange office
#plasticfree @igairportExtremely disappointed that such a modern lovely airport only provides water to thirsty travelers by making them BUY plastic bottles. I would have expected much more from the hub of Turkey’s premiere environmentally-friendly airport

i find it disappointing when we are trying to reduce plastic waste, the airport does not offer a facility to refill our water containers
