Heathrow airport’s maps show they have drinking water fountains in all toilets, I have been told they have installed new bottle filling stations.  Below is a photo of one, thanks to LouiseW‏ @Cogs39

We flew out of terminal 2 at Heathrow in May (2018) and they had 2 of these refilling stations at the entrance to the departure lounge, after you exit security.

The bottle filling station as described in the first post (August 18,2019) is there on the lower level. You need to go down the corridor for the toilets (approx. Gate A13/A14) and walk past the toilets.

The bottle filling station you described on the upper level is also there (top of the down escalator, outside Harrods). This station is free standing HSBC branded, and out of order when i saw it today.

Opposite Plaza Premium Lounge in T5, there is a water fountain in, the water from that one is always chilled

Just next to the toilets, opposite immigration that water fountain is also always chilled

Unfortunately the water fountains in terminal 5 are very hard to find. It’s not on the lower floor, by duty free, but directly above it. The water isn’t even chilled. If Heathrow is serious about its sustainable policies, then more of these are needed. The amount of plastic used/ sold in a day here is huge. A great shame.     #plasticfree

For people arriving in London T5, there does not seem to be a water fountain in the arrivals hall but you can go upstairs to the pre- security checking departure lounge to the toilets behind check in desk D1 and there is a fountain there. To state the obvious, this is only useful if you are then leaving the airport or have a long wait before check in as you cannot take it through security

Water fountain is there as per original post (ground floor by Swiss watches) you need to walk all the way to the toilets.

Water fountain also in C-gate area next to toilets at gate C65

Pair of fountains in T5 departures directly opposite gate A7. Note that it is around the corner from the toilets set into the wall.  Not very obvious.

I am due to fly out from Terminal 4 next month!

Airport operator BAA said drinking fountains offering free water were already installed at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Southampton airports,

                                  Not sure where ?
